Which sport will be the first to return with spectators
I think / hope horse racing will be one of the first.

Not talking The Derby or Cheltenham here but some of the smaller meetings where crowds can be limited and well spread out around the course.

Hoping to get to Warwick in September and Ascot beer festival meeting in October probably both 50/50 at the moment.

Nice one! Yes with the tracks they tend to be slanted towards the inside so it gets wetter there.
I once told someone that greyhounds that run at tracks were specially bred so that the left legs were slightly shorter so they could corner more easily.
And they believed me!

I prefer a dog that stays on rather than an early pace type as if they miss the break you’ve usually done your dough.

I also tend to back the outside traps when it’s raining heavy as certain tracks tend to cut up on the inside when they get wet.
I once done a 50p lucky 31 when it was lashing down at Crayford in five consecutive races 4x trap 6 & trap 5 in the last as was a hot favourite, all five selections obliged netting me £940.

Loved the roar from the crowd when they saw the dog start to overtake.

I remember watching that dog a few times when I was a kid at Romford. Pretty sure I saw it up against Ballyregan Bob too, another amazing dog. It was a canine version of Seb Coe, hanging around until it decided to make its break and leave everyone else in its dust.

Not if they've got any brains. They'd have come home with all the other sensible kiwis overseas.

Down to 1 case in the country now.

Sports starting back up again both club and professional. First indoor cricket games starting next week. Sweet.

There's talk of having a few thousand watching some of the
NZ Super Rugby games when they start in a fortnight or so.

They might have 5000 with 500 coming in through 10 gates and being restricted to their own blocks.

We're allowed groups of no more than 100 people, but there can be multiple groups as long as they are kept apart, so that's how they could get around it.

Be interesting to see whether it happens.

I grew up around the corner from the Oval and they would be very lucky to get 6000 in the 80's

I don't watch golf as its boring but any time I happened across it on telly all the spectators were shoulder to shoulder 10 deep breathing all over each other.

It won't be golf.

When i lived in a lads' house share in Honor Oak Park we used to go the dogs and banger racing at Lewisham dog track.
Was always a good, cheap evening out.
I came out 70 quid up one night at the dogs as I bet on a rank outsider purely because the dog had my name in its racing name.
